Automatic Singulator

The technical solution for automatic singulator is to use visual technology to identify objects (parcels) and control small size conveyor belts. After visual singulation, with other auxiliary equipments added, such as an auto centralizer, which makes the package output in a single-column form.

Function Overview

The main body is composed of an array of singulator modules. Each module is equipped with 2/3 belt and 2/3 servo motor. Each belt can operate independently. Each module can be installed and replaced separately.

The identification function consists of multiple industrial cameras and1 IPC. The cameras are mounted over the singulator module, and the image of the singulator is transmitted to the IPC in real time. The operation timing of the singulator module is judged and controlled by the self-developed algorithm.

Before parcels entering the singulator, there is a separation module, which is composed of an independent motor drive and plurality of narrow belts at different angles.
